This was just used with some supplies I found in the dollar section at Target. I LOVE Target’s dollar section! It amazes me what I can convince myself I need from there! Anyone else have the same problem?!
Some of the supplies I already had on hand, so it only cost me $9 and with the leftover supplies I’m sure I’ll find a use for it. First, was the wood plaque that I bought for $3 in the dollar section (I’m sorry but I forgot to take a before picture), all I did was mix a white ceramic paint and a light brown paint together to get this coat, it was too light for me, so I decided to let it dry a little bit, then I did a dry brush technique with more of the brown paint. The brown paint was also from Target that I found on clearance about a year ago for $2.48, it is the brand Devine and the color is “Devine Buck”. You can see the pictures below with it darkened up a bit!
Next up was the leaves that I also got from the dollar section, it was a 6 pk for $3.00, I just used hot glue to attach the leaf to the plaque.
I also found the “Fall” word in the dollar section at target for $3.00, it came in a package with other Fallish (Technical term!?) wood stickers. You can see the picture below of what the stickers look like.
Those orange & red leaf stickers I found at Christmas Tree Shop last year for $1 a piece, I’m sure you can find those at any craft stores, and all I did was just stick them on to get a cute fall sign! Here is the finished product!
I forgot to mention before the wood plaque does come with jute already attached to the back, I just couldn’t find a spot in my house to hang it!
As usual, if you guys have any questions or comments please feel free to email me or comment in the box below and I will get back to you as soon as possible! Happy Crafting!
